Fall Colors

I love patterns! This fall wreath pattern evolved from drawing a few leaves in Illustrator, which led to a desire to learn how to use a gradient and figuring out how the rotation would affect the final wreath. The paper distressing layers were added in Photoshop. I am going for a warm and crisp look. In autumn it's funny that the temperature gets cooler as the colors get warmer!

Art of Digital Design Exam - Passed!

Scrape me off the sky! I am so excited. I just took the Art of Digital Design Exam and I passed (nicely). It was excellent to review all the previous classes from JessicaSprague.com. The Art of Digital Design, My Practical Exam and Application:

I absolutely loved this incredible course. I am one of the lucky people to take "The Art of Digital Design" taught by Jessica Sprague and Carina Gardner. Every molecule in my creative soul is thrilled that I did this. It was like food for a starving person.

Part of the challenge for this practical part of our exam is that we were only allowed to choose three papers and three elements for our mini-kit. Here is my submission.

My fellow designers in our class were wonderful, supportive and just plain classy. They have really inspired me!
